5/31/2011 Wk 12 Day 1 OHP/Deadlift
Last week was deload week and I decided to take it off completely. I had some personal things going on and time in the gym was not a priority on a deload. No Harm, No Foul. So, let’s get to it.
Warm-up

65 x 10 supersetted with lateral raise 20 x 10. Superset x 3.
thoughts:
Deadlifts flew off the floor today. On the last set, I started with a gym belt and after 5 reps, I ripped it off. I then continued to hit 5 more and they felt better without the belt. The technique coaching from the LTT is still paying off.
Shoulders were on fire after the supersets, but I had to get some lateral raises in, I’ve missed them in my training.
For the first day back after a no-activity deload, I felt good. Backing the weights down at the start of a new cycle sucks, but that’s the name of the game. All is good.
